As I sit at my computer day after day, searching the job postings and not getting any calls back, I too am feeling the daily effects of the economic crisis. Instead of feeling myself a failure I am full of dreams, hopes, and of a bigger purpose than bringing home a paycheck. What matters to my heart are people and how I can make a difference in the lives of some of them.

Each homemade pie from the Recession Raspberry Pie to the All Together Apple Pie to the Put Up With It Pumpkin Pie is made with local organic fruit to help support our local community and famers. A portion of each pie purchase goes to the charity Shoes for Life which collects and distributes new and gently used shoes to several non-profit organizations. For each $20.00 pie sold $5.00 will be donated directly to Shoes for Life.
